about
Hi, I'm Darsh
CS student at VIT, graduating May 2027. I build backend systems — storage engines, distributed databases, consensus protocols. Most of my interesting work is in Go.
Currently working through DDIA and Database Internals.
Right now I'm building NanoBase — a PostgreSQL-compatible distributed SQL database (building a distributed database before reading the books about it seemed reasonable at the time). It has Raft replication, MVCC transactions, and genuine respect for your data.
Off the computer: Norm MacDonald, Anthony Jeselnik, and a healthy suspicion of anyone who describes their job as "passionate about technology."
